Quote inspiration #1: Life experience is all you need to succeed
Do you have those times you need some quotes that say exactly what you want to say, but never find the words to say? So, sometimes that’s me!!
Here are a few quotes that inspire me a lot.
“Give people time. Give people space. Don’t beg anyone to stay. Let them roam. What’s meant for you, will always be yours.” - Kofi Annan
Give people time
When you give people time, they can develop themselves in any way possible, they feel that they’ve been heard. Their voice, their feelings they explained have been heard. The feeling to be heard is amazing.
People can do whatever they like to do. That means we also give them their support in their values. That’s worth everything to get everything out of someone. They will feel free. Which means they don’t have to think about what other people think about them.
If friendships, relationships or any other kind of relationships doesn't work, then we can not ask people to stay in our own lives. Then we are not valued in their life.
So, we have to give each other space when we need that, have respect for each other's values and worths and follow the rules that are set for us by authorities (like the government), the people we work with, friends and families. So, also follow the rules when visiting someone else; it’s their home, their property and it’s their body.
Roam
Roam means literally: “To move about or travel, especially without a clear idea of what you are going to do.”. So, if I understand this correctly, you have to live your life without any idea to achieve things you want to do? Or is it that people should live their life the way they want and search for their own ways to find what meant to be for them? I think it is both sides.
What’s meant for you, will always be yours.
I think this one will be what it says. It is really devastating to say what others should do or should have in their life what maybe not meant to be for that person.
Life is not about being rich, being popular, being highly educated or being perfect. It’s about being real, humble, and kind. - George Clooney
Rich
When you are rich you have lots of money to buy stuff and to do whatever you want to do, you don’t have to worry about the money.
It is not about being rich in the world. It makes some things easier.
Popular
When you are popular, everyone wants to be around you and do everything with you. You have some kind of spirit people are looking for. But being popular means also that you have to give the right example to all the others - your followers. At the same time, there are people who are willing to put their own ego above the others to be popular. And, in my opinion, it isn’t good.
But would you like being popular all the time? I don’t even think I want to be popular.
Highly educated
I’m not sure what George Clooney meant with ‘it’s not being about highly educated’. But being well educated helps with getting a good job, in that way I disagree with him. When you have a highly educated education, but there are limited jobs in your field, then I agree with him; the education doesn’t matter anymore. I do get this. But when you’re highly educated, you also be with people and meet with people you wanted to be, I think, but I could be wrong.
There is another side, which I think he means with this, is that the attitude you have has nothing to do with how well educated you are. It is the heart that counts.
Perfectness
And there is the thing as being perfect?
What is being perfect? We don’t know. Because everyone has their own definition of being perfect. This discussion will thus never end.
He is right about that life is all about being real, humble and kind:
What would we do if nobody was real? What means real? That’s a very good question. We could have a discussion about this as well, but this discussion will never ends as well. For each person has ‘real’ a different meaning according to their life.
Real means literally: ‘Things as they really are, not as they exist in the imagination, in a story, on the internet, etc.’
So, if I have to be ‘real’: it would be the facts that matters. What really happened in a situation? What was really said in this conversation? What was really the number you got for maths? That is what I call ‘real’. But real means also if someone act the way it really wants and not saying/doing what someone else expect to do. Then you’ll become not the real you.
What would we do with people who humble all the time? I don’t know what the world/community would do if everyone stays in the back and don’t say anything when needed or say they don’t deserve the award it won.
Humble means literally: ‘Not proud or not believing that you are important.’
Well, this will be a good question/subject. What does this mean? In my opinion it means that you should be in the background when needed and not in front when someone else needs the attention because he/she deserves it.
What would we do when nobody is kind to each other? I think that we will we scream to each other, that we don’t have any boundaries, that we just walk on each other's properties without permission or even worse, we will have more criminal events.
Kind means literally: generous, helpful, and thinking about other people's feelings.
Most people are kind to each other. But also, in this digitial time, people are being busy with themselves or on their devices (for work) or they just want time for themselves. Busy all the time. People have less time to interact with others. They become more on themselves and are not really social, more toxic people. People also don’t like or don’t want to explain their feelings to someone else and then you have a society that people are close and being busy with their own feelings and thus less time for someone else. At least that is what this society let believe you. And that you may think about yourself. That is true, but helping others in need is imortant and that gives you a great feeling and boost for your OWN ego, like you are sharing (being generous) your candy with your friends. So you will eventually learn to think about someone elses feelings too.
And yet, there are so many definitions about how people can be kind to each other. We all have our own values we want to live by. And we all have to make concessusses how we all can be kind with each other and how we make this happen.
There’s a difference between the old me and the new me. I don’t put up with the same bullshit anymore and it’s that simple. - Unknown
Well, as we all learn in our lives, as we all have shit that happens in our lifes and have been through some things, we need to refind ourselves every now and then. And at one point in your life, you won’t put up with the same bullshit anymore. It could take years, month, weeks, days and maybe there will not be a point things could ever change, but
What makes you different or weird - that’s your strength. - Meryl Streep
Well, this is all about being yourself, being that unique person. What if all people are the same? Well, I think the world will be very boring. There will be nothing to do. Everyday doing the same thing and see people doing the same thing. BORING!!
